Chiropractic and Physical Therapy

Therapy Options

We are always innovating our “toolbox” in an effort to deliver the best care and quickest results.

KINESIOLOGY TAPING

Our doctors use Kinesio-taping, or KT Tape and Rock Tape, to help support muscular function, reduce inflammation, and improve communication to the coordination centers in the brain. It helps athletes and others use the injured area faster with more support and less pain during activities.

GRASTON THERAPY

Our doctors love to perform Graston, or Instrument Assisted Myofascial Release. It helps relax and heal your muscles and connective tissues that have been injured from repetitive use. It is a gentle technique that gets fast results, and almost anyone who sits for a job or has played a sport can see quick benefits from the therapy.

WHOLE BODY VIBRATION

Our doctors use Vibration Plate Therapy to help engage more muscles and activate specific areas of your nervous system for balance, coordination and muscle memory.  This helps relieve muscle spasms and knots faster, as well as retrain injured muscles and joints. Vibration therapy is also great for lymphatic tissue, cartilage repair and bone regeneration.

CUPPING THERAPY

Cupping therapy uses different sized “suction” cups on specific regions of the body to help reduce muscles tightness, improve blood flow, and reduce fascial adhesions.  This therapy can leave a mark on the skin caused by ecchymosis, which is a non-traumatic, discoloration of the skin.

EXERCISE THERAPY

For Exercise Therapy, you will be instructed proper exercise form for your specific spinal or extremity condition(s). For at-home, we use a computer and phone application called PhysiApp. All your exercises videos and directions are stored on your phone with clear directions and even reminders. Some patients are recommended home care equipment for quick and longer lasting results.

Neuromuscular Re-education

Our doctors also do Neuromuscular Re-education (NMR), which may be a combination of several therapies including Exercise Therapy, Vibration Plate Therapy, and balance/coordination training. These exercises will also be given on the PhysiApp program.

Nutritional Supplementation

Another tool our doctors love to talk about is nutritional therapy. Making sure your body has the right building blocks in a crisis situation to reduce inflammation and aid tissue repair can be easily attained through quality supplements.
